Who Should Try It?

A Route for Walkers and Runners

Walkers

Excellent Choice

The out-and-back format makes it easy to shorten the course whenever needed. Walk the full distance or simply turn around earlier.

Recreational Runners

Excellent Choice

A scenic distance with moderate elevation and long sections where you can settle into a comfortable pace.

Experienced Runners

Great Aerobic Route

The flatter profile makes it useful for an easier aerobic day when you don't want the substantial climbing found on many Peninsula routes.

Because portions of the route use trail and the course interacts with roads and crossings, conditions can change. Pay attention to footing, traffic and your surroundings, particularly early in the morning or near dusk.

Real Estate Perspective

When I'm showing someone Palos Verdes, I try to help them understand the lifestyle around the home as much as the home itself. A route like this is a good example. Being able to leave Malaga Cove and quickly access miles of coastal walking and running is one of those everyday benefits that can be easy to overlook when you're simply comparing bedrooms, square footage and lot size.
