House the market? Scherb Homes Group - March 2026

The South Bay real estate market is beginning to wake up as we head into the spring season. Inventory remains limited across much of the region, keeping the market slightly in seller’s territory overall, while certain neighborhoods are offering buyers more opportunities than we saw this time last year. Well-prepared homes are still selling quickly — many within the first 30 days — and often close very close to the asking price.

In this month’s Scherb Homes Market Report, we take a closer look at what’s happening across Rolling Hills, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, the Hollywood Riviera, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and San Pedro. The report breaks down key data points like pricing, inventory levels, days on market, and local trends — along with Cliff’s notes on what buyers and sellers should be thinking about as we move into the heart of the 2026 spring market.

Leasing in Manhattan Beach, Landing in PVE: Why We Chose Cliff

When Sarah and Norman decided to relocate from Manhattan Beach to Palos Verdes Estates, they turned to the Scherb Homes Group to help them manage two big moves at once—leasing out their Manhattan Beach home and securing a new rental in a very competitive market. With Cliff’s guidance on pricing, prep, and marketing, their Manhattan Beach property leased in just 13 days for $8,000 a month, above the initial asking price. At the same time, his relationships with local agents opened doors to on- and off-market options in Palos Verdes that they wouldn’t have found on their own. As Sarah shared in her testimonial, Cliff was “a good advocate… reliable… and someone who shows up,” striking the right balance between no-pressure support and clear urgency when it mattered most.

Hey Scherb Homes Family!

Hope you’re doing well and enjoying this beautiful South Bay spring! Our family has been making the most of it lately—Clover and I had a blast camping overnight at the Santa Barbara Zoo with the Adventure Guides. We got a behind-the-scenes tour, saw some amazing animals up close, and slept under the stars with giraffes just a few feet away. Baseball season is also in full swing with Clover playing for the Angels this year, and we’ve been catching up with family and friends between showings and listings. It’s been a season of full hearts and full calendars.
